Rain chance for the weekend

Our rain chances are continuing into the weekend. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, warm and muggy with scattered showers. Low temperatures will be near 70. A cold front has pushed into our area, and will stall into the weekend. This will keep clouds and a good chance for showers and thunderstorms around for tomorrow. On Sunday, much of the rain should push offshore, but there will still be a chance for a thunderstorm. Once we get past the weekend, we will see what comes out of the tropics. The potential is for a tropical storm or hurricane to impact the area Monday into Tuesday. There is still uncertainty, and details are not available, but wind and rain are possible to start the week.
