FLORIDA — A woman was hit and killed by a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority bus Saturday evening in Clearwater, police said.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. in the 2700 block of Gulf to Bay Boulevard near a large shopping center. Clearwater police said the victim, identified as 39-year-old Angela Wymer, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said Wymer appeared to have been trying to get the driver’s attention as the bus pulled away. She was reportedly banging on the side of the bus when she lost her footing and fell beneath the rear wheel…
