These 6 Staten Island neighborhoods were hit by robberies in just one week

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Police are investigating several robberies and thefts that occurred across Staten Island over the course of a recent week, according to the NYPD.

Police report that the following incidents occurred in the borough from Sept. 15 to 21 via a report by CompStat, the NYPD’s data system:

  • On Sept. 17 at 7 a.m., an open-area robbery was reported at Victory Boulevard and Monroe Avenue in Tompkinsville.
  • On Sept. 19 at 10 p.m., a licensed-for-hire robbery occurred at Castleton and Bard avenues in West Brighton.
