The Roche de Boeuf Festival organized by the Waterville Chamber of Commerce will be held on Saturday, September 27, in downtown Waterville, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This year’s festival is the 52nd anniversary. Featured will be a kids’ zone in Parker Square, a parade featuring the AW Marching Generals, Waterville Historical Society activities including horse drawn trolley rides, Waterville Fire Department trucks, live music, tons of vendors and lots of food trucks.
The artisans’ area will be on North Second Street. Visitors will have a chance to view, enjoy and purchase the work of 20 local artisans. This section, named Rue des Artistes, is organized by the Anthony Wayne Area Arts Commission. Local artists and artisans will be selling their work. This year’s line-up includes: Copper Moon, Emilee Roach, Jack Schultz, Mary Burget, Joan Hetzner, Shannon Jones, Linda Myers, Deborah Reimond, Mark Luebke, Sarah Voltz, Michael Simpson, Samantha Smolenski, Linda Stewart, Terry Langenderfer (Carruth Studios), Jamie Klear, Casey Rohm, Ginny Meeker, Sunshine Studios and Bittersweet Farms…
