CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M’s defense allowed just 35 yards of total offense on Saturday night as the Buffaloes overpowered the Wolves of Western Oregon, 35-7 in front of over 7,000 fans at Bain-Schaeffer Buffalo Stadium in Canyon, Texas.

WT started the first quarter strong, advancing the ball steadily with Jayden Hibbler’s ground efforts, including a key 15-yard rush. RJ Martinez connected with Trevin Edwards for an 18-yard pass, setting up Drew Cox’s successful 32-yard field goal, which put the home team on the scoreboard first.
