First ‘Fisher House’ in Arkansas opens, offering shelter for families of veterans

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — They say there’s no place like home, but when your loved one is admitted to the hospital, you have to make temporary plans.

For some, that involves a lot of time traveling and money spent on hospital stays, but that’s where the Fisher House comes in.
