Upcoming Lane Closures on I-30 in Rockwall County: Plan Your Travel Accordingly

If you’re planning to drive along Interstate 30 this coming week, you might need to adjust your schedule, as various lane closures are set to take place for roadwork activities. According to an alert from Rockwall County’s official website, lane closures will commence today and are expected to continue until Saturday, October 4.

For the night owls or those who prefer to drive when the stars are out, I-30’s eastbound left lane stretching from FM 548 to FM 2642 will be closed overnight, from 9 PM to 5 AM, to facilitate bridge and earthwork activities at Sabine Creek and FM 35. This mirror may well quickly find itself in a similar situation as the westbound left lane, from FM 2642 to FM 548, is also scheduled for closure during the same hours.
