AIKEN, S.C. – Marley Middlebrooks and Cassidy Bloom combined on 30 of Flagler College’s 45 kills in a sweep of the University of South Carolina Aiken (25-10, 25-23, 25-22) in a Peach Belt Conference volleyball opener Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center.
The Saints improved to 6-9 overall while the Pacers dropped to 5-6. Flagler will travel to Edward Waters University on Oct. 4 for its next match.
Middlebrooks remained the face of the Saints offense for the second day in a row after putting up a match high 16 kills. She was one dig shy of a double-double.
