Deputy bitten by dog, suffers minor injury in Springfield

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A sheriff’s deputy was bit by a dog while working in Springfield on Saturday morning.

According to the Clark County Communication Center, the deputy is “fine” and suffered a “minor flesh wound” while working at a home in the 300 block of North Bechtle Avenue at approximately 11 a.m.

Officials said he went directly to a local ER out of precaution.

The dog is in quarantine and the dog warden is investigating his medical records…
