Another week at Duke brings with it another week of fun and interesting arts events. For those looking for something to do with their free time, The Chronicle has compiled a list of events — both new and ongoing — for you to check out.
Currently, Miller Lagos’ “The Merx Tree” is on the second floor of the Rubenstein Arts Center Gallery for students to view. The sculpture is made from cardboard collected on Duke’s campus and hopes to highlight the hidden cost of commerce.
On Monday, Duke Arts Create: Community Workshop will be hosting a field notes workshop at 4:30 p.m. in the Duke gardens. The event is taught by two artists and is focused on helping make people better observers of the natural world.
