RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities are searching for a 9-year-old girl who was reported missing around 4:30 Sunday afternoon in Sophia, according to the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
Laura Barbara Escobar was last seen in the area of Roy Farlow Road wearing an olive green shirt with a frog on it, olive green shorts and black Crocs, deputies said. She left the area on foot and did not take any belongings with her.
