Farragut High School student named 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon has announced that a Farragut High School student was one of 161 high school seniors named a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar.

The award is given to students based on their accomplishments in academics, the arts and career and technical education fields.

“Congratulations to this year’s Presidential Scholars for their remarkable academic, artistic, and technical achievements,” said U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon. “Out of 3.9 million high school graduates, these 161 students are recognized for their extraordinary performance in their high school career.
