MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman wanted for multiple charges out of Nashville was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Mt. Juliet Sunday afternoon.
According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the incident began as a brake light violation along Beckwith Road on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Cheatham County’s absconder unit arrests another wanted man
As a result of the stop, authorities said they arrested a 25-year-old Nashvillian wanted for felony aggravated assault and vandalism. In addition, the woman was reportedly cited for having an unrestrained child in the vehicle.
Then, after the 25-year-old was brought to jail, officials said staff found marijuana hidden on her person, which led to an additional charge of bringing drugs into a penal institution…
