Coconut Creek Commission Approves Millage Rate and Budget for Fiscal Year 2025-2026

Coconut Creek property owners will see a slight increase in their property taxes.

During the September 25 special meeting, the commission approved, on second and final reading, an ordinance to adopt the city’s ad valorem tax operating millage rate at 6.8988 mills for the 2025-2026 fiscal year. This is a 7 percent increase from last year’s rate of 6.4463.

Homeowners will pay more to fund the construction of a new Fire Station 113 and Fire Administration Building, which is estimated to cost approximately $28 million and will be located behind Monarch High School.
