TONIGHT: KTSM has issued a Weather Authority Alert due to the potential for strong (possibly severe) t-storms and a heavy rain threat through the evening. A surge of tropical moisture is sitting over the Borderlands. Mix that with high instability, and we have the possibility of very strong t-showers this evening until around midnight. In the early morning hours, storms will taper off leaving partly to mostly cloudy skies. The low will drop to 61, and the east winds will range from 5-20 mph with stronger gusts as storms break apart.
FORECAST: Monday will be partly to mostly cloudy and very “Fall-like” with a high of 82. The SE winds will range from 5-15 mph. And just like that, the monsoon concludes. On Tuesday, we start our warming trend as we dry out and heat up. Tuesday will be sunny and 88. Wednesday will be sunny and 90.
