When we first reported on this project in August 2022, Aaron’s was only a sign on the old Petco building. That wait is over, and the rent-to-own chain has now opened, taking over a space that had been empty since Petco closed in 2015.

The Hurst location carries the typical Aaron’s mix of furniture, appliances, and electronics, with rent-to-own options that include delivery and curbside pickup. Sitting next to Hobby Lobby and Skechers, the store adds activity back to a strip center that had long struggled with vacancies.
