BONNEVILLE SALT FLATS, Utah (ABC4) — A crash occurred on Bonneville Salt Falts after a driver lost control.
According to the Southern California Timing Association (SCTA), around 11:38 a.m. on September 28, a driver was attempting to reach a speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats when he lost control of the vehicle around the 4-mile mark.
The driver identified as 61-year-old Keith Copeland was treated on the scene, before being transported by Medivac helicopter to the University of Utah Hospital. His condition is currently unknown…
