Oregon Fire Crews Contain Corvallis Wildfire; Cause Under Investigation

Corvallis, OR – A fast-moving wildfire in northeast Corvallis forced Level 3 “Go Now” evacuations Saturday afternoon before firefighters quickly contained the blaze.

According to the Corvallis Fire Department, crews responded around 3:00 p.m. to a wildfire near NE Granger Avenue and NE Pettibone Drive. The fire spread rapidly, prompting immediate evacuation orders for nearby homes.
