SEATTLE, Wash. — A 41-year-old man was arrested by Seattle police for assault and unlawful possession of a gun following a shooting investigation in the Chinatown-International District early this morning.
At around 1:40 a.m., officers responded to reports of a man pointing a gun at people in Hing Hay Park. During the 911 call, the suspect allegedly fired a gun while the call taker was on the line with the victim.
The suspect reportedly approached the victim and engaged in a verbal argument with her and her boyfriend, during which he fired a gun at them. According to the police report, the suspect threatened the victim, saying “he was going to kill her.”…
