HALFMOON, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Sorrentino’s Delicatessen & Market will be shutting the doors of its Halfmoon location after three decades in business. The family-owned and operated establishment is expected to close on October 5.

The Sorrentino’s Halfmoon location first opened in 1995. 10 years later, the business added a second location in South Glens Falls.
Since then, Sorrentino’s has offered a wide selection of fresh meats, local produce, cheeses and Italian deli meats. They also serve homemade salads, cannoli and eclairs, and their popular overstuffed sub sandwiches.
Now, the business is scaling down its operations due to health reasons, according to owner Rich Sorrentino. The South Glens Falls location will remain open, continuing to offer the same wide inventory, including freshly made sub rolls and over 20 varieties of sausage.

“Between myself and my staff, we have made some great friends and loyal customers over the years, for which we are grateful,” Sorrentino said. “Come in and say hi if you’re ever up in the Glens Falls area. It has been a pleasure!”…
