Saratoga County woman arrested for alleged corporate theft in Albany

ALBANY — A Saratoga County woman was arrested Friday on felony larceny charges for allegedly stealing nearly $55,000 from her former employer over a four-year period, the Albany County Sheriff’s Office announced.

Sheriff’s investigators arrested Jacqueline F. DiSalvatore, 60, following an investigation into larceny at her former workplace, Competitive Advantage Group.

DiSalvatore, who previously worked as the company’s bookkeeper, is accused of stealing $54,956.45 between 2020 and 2024. Authorities said the theft was accomplished through unauthorized personal purchases on a corporate American Express card and by diverting funds for HVAC work performed at multiple residential properties…
