Victim and suspect identified in Salina deadly shooting

SALINA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A man was reportedly found alive with several gunshot wounds in Salina, but died later in the hospital.

Onondaga County deputies responded to reports of a shooting at the Mattydale Express convenience store on at around 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 28, according to a news release. The police say they found the man, who they did not name but described as in his 30s, alive with multiple gunshot wounds. He was sent to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died.
