Forecast: Dry and warm conditions linger

DES MOINES, Iowa — If you liked Friday’s weather, one would assume you like Saturday. Temperatures will be just a bit cooler as we head into Sunday, after cooler overnight lows.

We look to stay in the dry category dewpoint-wise, so any frontal boundaries that may pass by have little in the way of moisture to work with to create precipitation. We’re more than an inch below average rainfall for the month of September now, and we’ve really dried out after a soaker of a July.
