September 23, 2025 – A Clarksville driver was arrested last week for vehicular homicide by reckless conduct after a Traffic Division investigation revealed he was traveling in a Nissan Altima at more than 100 miles per hour during the April 9 fatal crash on I-24 West with a tractor-trailer that killed his 42-year-old relative.
The semi was traveling westbound in the right lane when it moved to the left lane as it approached a broken-down vehicle pulled over on the right shoulder. As the semi merged back into the right lane, the speeding Altima, driven by Inderjit Singh, 30, struck the trailer tires, causing it to leave the roadway and roll over into the tree line.
Singh’s passenger, Pritam “Peter” Singh, died at the scene…
