New Port Richey, Fla. – A 27-year-old Holiday man was arrested early Saturday morning after deputies say he led officers on a dangerous high-speed chase through downtown New Port Richey, striking a patrol vehicle and driving the wrong way on U.S. Highway 19 before crashing.
According an arrest affidavit, an officer observed a black sport-style motorcycle traveling near Main Street and Grand Boulevard with no visible license plate. The rider, later identified as Michael Grady, 27, of Holiday, reportedly made eye contact with the deputy before accelerating in an attempt to flee.
