Significant in the NOPD’s efforts in combating violence were the arrest of two individuals connected to separate homicide cases, Feliciana Winniford and Wallace Gilmore, both apprehended on September 24, “in its investigation of a homicide” as cited by the New Orleans Police Department News, in addition to Coleman Vickers, captured on September 25 with interagency assistance, Vickers faces a second-degree murder charge and ancillary charges from the Louisiana State Police.
