ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — If you live in Albuquerque, you will soon make a big decision that will impact local schools and the thousands of students who learn there.
“We have 142 schools, 60,000 students [and] about 17 million square feet of buildings, of which 40% are 60 years or older,” said Kizito Wijenje, the executive director of Albuquerque Public Schools’ capital master plan.
