Overcast skies with hints of sunshine greeted teams at the Region III Championships, as runners navigated the undulating 5-kilometer course at Kincaid Park.
Seward’s Olive Jordan (19:58) and Wasilla’s Hailee Giacobbe (19:19) successfully defended their region titles, while Mountain City Christian Academy’s Breyden Nottingham (16:18) and Palmer’s Bodie Miller (16:12) each netted their first, following the footsteps of legends before them.
