HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Kilauea’s episode 34 of the ongoing eruption is expected to start in less than 48 hours.
The USGS says overnight and this morning there have been more than 8 overflows of lava from the north vent caused by a buildup of volcanic gas.
The events have lasted 5-10 minutes and are about 30 minutes apart…
