Sandra DeShazior, the wife of Ward 1 Akron City Councilman Sam DeShazior, died suddenly Sept. 26, he shared via Facebook.
“Sandra was a wonderful blessing to me, our family and our community,” DeShazior said. “My heart is broken but I am grateful for the time the Lord gave us together which was almost 40 years.”
