Loudoun County deputies seek driver in hit-and-run crash

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is in search of the driver involved in a Sunday hit-and-run crash that left a man seriously hurt.

Deputies said that around 4:30 a.m., crews responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a car in the intersection of West Church Road and Magnolia Road in Sterling.

There, a man was found lying in the roadway and was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle drove off before deputies arrived.
