NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — One person was seriously injured in an attack Tuesday morning that reportedly involved a machete, according to authorities.
Metro police officers were called around 2 a.m. Tuesday to the area of Whites Creek Pike and West Trinity Lane after the victim reported that they were attacked with a machete.

Officers rendered aid to the victim until emergency medical services arrived to transport them to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
According to Metro police, a preliminary investigation suggests that the incident is domestic-related and occurred at a nearby residence following a “night of drinking that led to a physical altercation.”…
