A Mexican restaurant that opened next to the Paddock Mall just over a year ago was closed for multiple days last week after a food safety inspector found approximately six dozen living and dead roaches during three separate health inspections.
El Patron Mexican Grill and Bar was forced to close its location at 3101 SW 34th Avenue, #1000, in Ocala on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of last week (i.e., Sept. 23 – Sept. 25) after failing three separate health inspections.
According to a report from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, during the first inspection on Tuesday, September 23, the restaurant was cited for approximately 11 health code violations, including three considered “high priority.”…
