Greece police officers nearly struck during stolen car chase

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A stolen car chase that caused property damage and nearly injured Greece police officers ended in an arrest.

On Monday afternoon, the Greece Police Department responded to reports of a suspicious man checking vehicles in the area of Forgham Road and Stonecliff Drive. They said they found the suspect, who took off in a stolen car.

The vehicle was later found at Columbus Park where the suspect struck a portable restroom, guardrail, and a patrol vehicle. Officers said the suspect nearly struck two officers when he tried driving away…
