SACRAMENTO – Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that California is answering the call for assistance from other states facing multiple storms in the Atlantic including a Category 4 hurricane off the east coast and Tropical Cyclone Nine which has the potential to develop into a hurricane early next week which threatens Georgia, the Carolinas, and other mid-Atlantic states.
California stands with our fellow Americans in times of need — just as our fellow Americans have done for us. We thank the brave search and rescue crews who are heading to the East Coast ahead of these storms.
