(KRON) — The Cupertino Whole Foods Market located on Stevens Creek Boulevard is set to reopen today after the store made updates following the discovery of vermin in the smoothie bar and deli areas, leading to the temporary closure of the entire market.
In a statement shared with KRON4 News, a Whole Foods Market spokesperson shared that they, “are pleased to welcome customers back on September 29th for the reopening of our Stevens Creek store. We have made extensive updates to the store and refreshed the decor to ensure an improved shopping experience for our customers.”

This announcement follows the partial closure in April after the initial discovery of rodent droppings and cockroaches in the deli and bakery departments. Later on, the entire store was shut down by the County of Santa Clara Department of Environmental Health.
