LINCOLN, Ne. — As the calendar turns to October, the Nebraska State Patrol and many other police agencies are honoring cancer fighters with the annual Pink Patch Project.
This is the eighth year for NSP’s participation in the Pink Patch Project, which coincides with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition to raising awareness, the Pink Patch Project also serves as a fundraiser to support local cancer fighters.
NSP’s pink patches are available for purchase for $10 at local NSP Troop Area offices in Omaha, Lincoln, Norfolk, Grand Island, North Platte, and Scottsbluff. All proceeds from the sale of the pink patches will benefit Nebraska’s Hereditary Cancer Foundation.
