A fatal incident occurred in the Mark Twain neighborhood last Saturday, leading to the death of a young man and leaving another severely injured. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers from District 6 were dispatched following reports of a shooting on the 5300 block of Ruskin just after 2:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found two adult males with gunshot wounds. The first, a 23-year-old man was promptly rushed to the hospital, where, he succumbed to his injuries. The second victim, a 29-year-old male, was also conveyed to a medical facility and is currently listed in critical, but stable condition.
The preliminary investigation indicates that an argument between the two men escalated on the street, leading to an exchange of shots fired. No arrests have been reported so far, and the identity of the deceased has not been released pending family notification…
