Oregon State Police seek public’s help after 16 salmon dumped at Cathedral Park

Oregon – The Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible for dumping and wasting 16 salmon in Portland last month.

The fish were discovered at Cathedral Park, near North Crawford Street and North Pittsburgh Avenue, and are believed to have been dumped in the early morning hours of August 27, 2025. Investigators noted the salmon had net marks.
