Mission Hospital nurses sound the alarm on staffing shortages, patient safety concerns

ASHEVILLE, NC. (WLOS) — Dozens of nurses gathered outside Mission Hospital on Tuesday morning in protest of the hospital’s performance in staffing, health and safety, recruitment and retention, and meal and rest breaks.

Nurses at the “Sound the Alarm” rally claim that HCA Healthcare has failed to recruit and retain enough nurses to ensure patients’ safety.
