Police in Niagara County spent the past week arresting people accused of crimes. Niagara County comprises several cities, towns, and villages, including the City of Lockport, the City of North Tonawanda, the City of Niagara Falls, the Town of Lewiston, the Town of Lockport, the Town of Wheatfield, and the Village of Youngstown.
A Lockport man has been accused of damaging his cell. The 29-year-old inmate didn’t specify how his cell was damaged, but his charges may provide some insight. Michael A. Maybee was charged with one count of arson and one count of criminal mischief, according to WGRZ. Maybee was previously arrested on June 16, 2025, on a charge of CRIM CONTMPT-1:VIOL PL215.50(3)-PRIOR CONV AGG/CRIM CONT-5YR and given a $10,000 bail.
Last week, 33 people were arrested for a variety of alleged crimes. The week before, 23 people were arrested in Niagara County, indicating a notable increase. Each of the people below is considered innocent until found guilty in a court of law. Contact me here.
