MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police arrested a 33-year-old man on Monday after he allegedly carried a machete into a downtown business while seeking money and a cellphone from a victim, a police report said.
Ladalyon Stackhouse was arrested after police were called about 9:50 a.m. to the business in the 900 block of Broadway Street. When they arrived, they talked to Stackhouse outside the business before going inside to talk to the victim and witnesses.
They said Stackhouse came into the business with a machete on his side and said he needed $25 or the victim’s cellphone, telling a victim he would “give him this,” referring to the machete, the report said. Witnesses also said Stackhouse wanted to “chop him up,” referring to the victim…
