Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — As Rochester Gas & Electric and New York State Electric & Gas look to raise rates, the state’s Public Service Commission is holding public hearings to get input from customers.
A decent crowd showed up at City Hall Tuesday afternoon to let their voices be heard before state regulators.
“I’m absolutely against RG&E raising their rates,” said Suzanne Shady, an advisory member of Eastern Service Workers Association. “I believe that we in this community as well as in the state have an obligation to do everything we can to try to make life more sustainable, and positive for all people.”…
