In a recent crackdown on retail theft, the Folsom Police Department has reported a felony arrest at the Folsom Outlets. Last Saturday, two individuals were spotted by officers as they left the Nike store with multiple boxes of shoes, which were suspected to be stolen. The incident was announced in a social media post by the police department.
The suspects attempted to evade police by discarding the shoes and fleeing the scene. Jerrell Collis, a 31-year-old Sacramento resident, was apprehended by officers and is now facing felony theft charges. Running from the officers after tossing the shoes, police managed to apprehend Collis, but his accomplice managed to escape.
