First storms of Fall will bring rain chances, cooler and cloudy weather | Weather Impact Alert

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Weather conditions forecast for the Sacramento region will experience a very different weather pattern early this week as a series of storms moves through the area and brings fall weather to the region.

The temperatures will be more than 10 degrees below average and clouds will cover the region at times as well as rain and thunderstorms. Thursday will see the pattern change as high pressure moves in and the area warms into the weekend.

The first system will take shape on Monday with increased cloud cover and mild early morning temperatures in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs will be in the mid 70s with lots of cloud cover.
