PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two universities in Delaware and another two in Maryland were evacuated Tuesday morning as police investigated possible campus threats.
In a post on social media, Delaware State University in Dover said it received a bomb threat just before 11 a.m. The threat is still under investigation, but the university evacuated all buildings and canceled classes for the rest of the day “out of an abundance of caution.”
Police are also investigating a “potential campus safety incident” at the University of Delaware in Newark. Three school buildings were evacuated. The university said it will provide updates as more information becomes available…
