The Lower Moreland Police Department announced today the arrest of Sherrie Hewett, 48, for receiving stolen property and driving with a suspended license.
According to the report, officers conducted a vehicle stop on the 3500 block of Huntingdon Pike in Huntingdon Valley on Friday, September 26. The purple Ford Edge was found to have a registration plate reported stolen from the Upper Darby Police Department.
Further investigation revealed that the vehicle’s registration and physical VIN did not match the one provided in the NCIC hit for the stolen registration plate.
