Wanted Massachusetts man arrested following police chase into New Hampshire

MERRIMACK, N.H. (WWLP) – A man wanted out of Massachusetts was arrested early Tuesday morning following a police chase in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

New Hampshire State Police stated that just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, troopers were notified that Lowell police officers were pursuing a 2006 Ford Escape on Route 3 northbound and that the vehicle was heading toward New Hampshire.

Suspect arrested, victim hospitalized following Holyoke police chase

Lowell police reported that the suspect, 20-year-old Dominick Howard of East Wareham, Mass., had an active felony warrant in Massachusetts. New Hampshire troopers then took over the police pursuit as Howard crossed over the state line in Nashua, reportedly speeding up to 100 mph.

State police were able to use a tire deflation device on Howard’s vehicle, which continued to drive northbound until losing a tire. The Escape then went off the right side of the road in Merrimack. Howard ran away to a nearby wooded area as troopers detained three passengers who were inside the vehicle…
