Arkansas Food Hall of Fame announces Class of 2025
The Arkansas Department of Heritage has announced the 2025 inductees into the Arkansas Food Hall of Fame — and this year’s top winners celebrate a love of beef.
At the ceremony on Sept. 29 at the Ben E. Keith headquarters in North Little Rock, this year’s Arkansas Food Hall of Fame members were inducted.
Taylor’s Steakhouse of Dumas (taylorssteakhouse-dumas.com) originally opened in 1954 as a grocery store. Over the years, it added a lunch counter, with burgers and eventually cheese dip among its regular offerings. In the 21st century, the grocery and adjacent liquor store were converted by Chuck Taylor, the son of original owners Charles and Dorothy Taylor, into a restaurant focusing on dry- and wet-aged steaks.
