4 injured after car crashes into McDonald’s: SLMPD

ST. LOUIS – Four people were taken to the hospital after a car reportedly drove into a McDonald’s in the Central West End neighborhood.

According to the St. Louis Fire Department, the incident happened in the 4000 block of Lindell Boulevard. First responders say three teens—who were inside the McDonald’s—and the driver behind the wheel were transported to the hospital with injuries listed as non-threatening, according to EMS Medic 10.

Witnesses say the driver crossed all four lanes of Lindell, crashed through the gate and went straight into the dinning room.

“I mean it’s not surprising because some people may be under the influence or something,” said Angela Williams. “I don’t know maybe it could’ve been she something happened to her. Maybe they need to put some little speed bumps or something to slow people down perhaps.”…
